Inktomi Co-Founder Purchases Additional Stock In Notify Technology CorporationSan Jose, CA – February 22, 2000/PRNewswire/ -- Notify Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: NTFY), a leading provider of message notification products and services, today announced that David Brewer, co-founder of Inktomi Corporation, has exercised one warrant for 155,800 shares of common stock in Notify Technology Corporation, providing over one half a million dollars of additional capital. The latest milestone achieved was the booking of over $1,500,000 in product orders in one fiscal quarter.  Virtually all of these orders were for the Company’s Call Manager and Centrex Receptionist products although the first revenue from the Company’s new Visual Got Mail technology was recognized in the fiscal quarter ended December 31, 1999 and was generated from trial programs.  The Company reported a 373% increase in revenue in the fiscal quarter ended December 31, 1999 compared to the same period of the prior year. Brewer, an early investor in Notify Technology, became interested in making an additional investment after following the development of the company's Visual Got Mail technology that provides e-mail notification for dial-up users.  On March 4, 1999, Mr. Brewer invested $3 million in Notify as part of a private placement of common stock and warrants.  On October 12, 1999, he invested another $1.1 million dollars when Notify Technology achieved the first two of four milestones when it successfully negotiated and signed multiple trial agreements for the Company’s new Visual Got Mail products.  "I believe the Company is making great progress with its Visual Got Mail technology.  The Company is also enjoying increasing success with its new Call Manager and Centrex Receptionist products," said David Brewer.
