NOTIFY TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCES AN AGREEMENT FOR SPRINT TO UTILIZE "VISUAL GOT MAIL" SYSTEM
SAN JOSE, CALIF. September 7th, 2000 Sprint Corporation (NYSE: FON) and Notify Technology Corp. (NASDAQ: NTFY) have announced an Agreement for Sprint to use Notify's Visual Got Mail system and new eView 100 Internet voice appliance that enables customers to view email headers without having to go online.
How "Visual Got Mail" Works
Notify's Visual Got Mail service helps subscribers save time by checking up to five email accounts. The email information can then be viewed on the eView 100 display device, a small Internet voice appliance similar to a caller-ID box that connects to the home telephone line. The system provides notification of up to 25 new email messages for an account. Users can decide whether they want to go on-line and retrieve their new email messages or wait until later.
