CenturyTel to sell Notify Technology's Centrex Receptionist Products

Auto-attendant available soon to CenturyTel Centrex customers

SAN JOSE, Calif. – May 3, 2000 – Notify Technology Corp. (NASDAQ: NTFY), a leading supplier of innovative call and message notification products and services, has signed an agreement with CenturyTel, Inc. (NYSE: CTL). The Louisiana-based communications company will offer Notify Technology’s Centrex Receptionist product line to its Centrex customers.

The Centrex Receptionist product is a call manager available in two- and four-port configurations. It provides Centrex customers with a 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week customized call answering and routing solution.

The product enhances basic Centrex service by answering incoming calls on each customer’s main or toll-free trunk lines, allowing callers to automatically route themselves to departments or listen to pre-recorded audiotext information for routinely asked questions.

The product also provides name directory look-up and both supervised or unsupervised extension transfers.
