Notify Technology Signs Agreement WithAT&T WorldNet® Service

AT&T WorldNet Service offers subscribers E-Mail Notification using Notify Technology’s "Visual Got Mail" Service

SAN JOSE, CALIF. – October 26, 2000 – Notify Technology Corp. (NASDAQ: NTFY), a leading communications application service provider of wireless and wireline messaging services, today announced an agreement with AT&T WorldNet Service(NYSE: T), a leading nation-wide Internet Service Provider. Notify’s e-mail notification service "Visual Got Mail will be bundled with its eView 100 Internet voice appliance, providing AT&T WorldNet subscribers a total e-mail notification solution that enables subscribers to view e-mail headers without having to go online. The service is available now.

"As an industry leader in providing innovative, value-added features to their customers, we are delighted that AT&T WorldNet Service will be the first national ISP to offer our Visual Got Mail service," said Paul DePond, president and founder of Notify Technology.

How "Visual Got Mail" Works

Notify Technology’s Visual Got Mail service helps subscribers save time by checking up to six e-mail accounts, such as home and children’s e-mail accounts. The e-mail information can then be viewed on the eView 100 display device, a small Internet voice appliance similar to a caller ID box that connects to the home telephone line. Visual Got Mail provides notification of up to twenty-five new e-mail messages by displaying the sender’s e-mail address, the e-mail subject, and the total number of messages for that account. Users can then decide whether they want to go on-line and retrieve their new e-mail messages or wait until later.

Visual Got Mail subscribers can also create a list of up to 15 e-mail addresses and choose whether notification to the visual display device occurs only when new e-mail comes from those addresses or, conversely, choose not to receive notification when new e-mail comes from those addresses.

Residential users can check for new e-mail up to four times a day as easily as checking their answering machine or voice mail. The device also provides caller-ID information and voice mail message notification if customers subscribe to those services.
