Notify Technology’s Wireless Enterprise Solutions Now Support Symbian OS

 

SAN JOSE, CA – December 19, 2002 – Notify Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: NTFY), today announced that its NotifyLink Enterprise Edition will now support devices using Symbian OS. Notify will initially provide support for the new Nokia 9290 Communicator that utilizes Symbian OS. Now users of the Nokia 9290 will be able to receive push notification and over-the-air synchronization of their email calendar, contacts, and tasks utilizing AES and Triple DES end-to-end encryption. The NotifyLink Enterprise Edition supports Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise environments. The Nokia 9290 Communicator utilizes the GSM Network, provided by wireless carriers such as, Cingular Wireless, AT&T Wireless, and T-Mobile in the United States and Rogers AT&T in Canada. The Nokia 9290 Communicator integrates a clear color screen, with the Symbian OS® QWERTY keyboard and phone functionality to create a familiar PC-like environment.
