Notify Technology’s Wireless Enterprise Solutions Now Support the Nokia 9290 Communicator
SAN JOSE, CA – December 19, 2002 – Notify Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: NTFY), today announced that its NotifyLink Enterprise Edition products will now support the Nokia 9290 Communicator. Users of the Nokia 9290 Communicator will now be able to receive push notification and over-the-air synchronization of their email calendar, contacts, and tasks utilizing AES and Triple DES end-to-end encryption. With NotifyLink, corporations will now have the freedom to choose from multiple devices, utilizing multiple networks to meet the various needs of their mobile workforce. The Nokia 9290 Communicator utilizes the GSM Network, provided by wireless carriers such as, Cingular Wireless and T-Mobile in the United States and Rogers AT&T in Canada.
The Nokia 9290 Communicator is a fully integrated mobile terminal combining phone, fax, e-mail, calendar, and imaging functionality. Easy data access and entry are made possible with a high resolution active matrix color display and full QWERTY keyboard, which give Nokia 9290 Communicator users a desktop feel on a mobile device. Internet access is possible via both a WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) and a HTML-based browser.
