Notify Technology Introduces The First Enterprise Solution To Support Both The Motorola Talkabout® T900 and TimeportTM P935
SAN JOSE, CA – November 28, 2001 – Notify Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: NTFY), today announced its new corporate mobile email solution called NotifyLink Enterprise Exchange Edition. This is the first in a series of NotifyLink Enterprise Products to be made available by Notify Technology. Now, corporations using the Motorola Talkabout T900 2way and/or the Motorola Timeport P935 can utilize an all-encompassing Enterprise Exchange Solution. The NotifyLink Enterprise Exchange Edition can enable corporate users to maintain secure synchronized access to their email, calendar, contacts, tasks, and files, while they are mobile. With the increasing challenges to cut costs while maintaining communications with their mobile workforce, corporations have begun to make the transition from the traditional one-way pager to devices like the Talkabout T900 2-way. However until now, there was no way to link the corporate email server to the individuals utilizing the Talkabout T900. By utilizing Notify’s latest product, ReFLEX carriers have an Enterprise Solution for the Talkabout T900 that will meet the needs of their current corporate customers that account for an overwhelming majority of their 2-way sales. Notify Technology’s distribution channel for the NotifyLink Enterprise Solution will target large ReFLEX carriers such as: WebLink WirelessTM, SkyTel®, Metrocall®, Arch WirelessTM, and PageNet Canada.
"WebLink Wireless is excited to offer Notify's wireless e-mail server 'Enterprise Edition' to our business customers. Wireless access to corporate e-mail is now a competitive necessity for many business professionals and often delivers a tremendous return on the investment," said N. Ross Buckenham, president of WebLink Wireless. "With Notify's Enterprise Exchange Server powered by WebLink Wireless, business customers can manage their e-mail as they travel throughout the United States.
“Our NotifyLink Enterprise Exchange Edition will provide ReFLEX carriers selling the Talkabout T900 and the Timeport P935 with the corporate solution they have been waiting for. Corporate users can now access and maintain their email while they are mobile,” said Paul DePond, President and Founder of Notify Technology. “We have developed a solution which targets over one million existing Talkabout T900 users, representing a total market opportunity of millions of dollars annually. Notify’s revenue model includes a reoccurring monthly service fee for each device connected to our enterprise solution.”
