Notify Technology Announces Support for the New Handspring TreoTM 300 Communicator
SAN JOSE, CA – September 26, 2002 – Notify Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: NTFY), today announced that it’s NotifyLink Enterprise Edition products will now support the new HandspringTM Inc. (NASDAQ: HAND) Treo 300 Communicator in addition to its currently supported Handspring, Palm, Motorola, and RIM wireless handheld devices. With NotifyLink, corporations will now have the freedom to choose from multiple devices, utilizing multiple networks to meet the various needs of their mobile workforce. NotifyLink Enterprise Edition products can support a Microsoft Exchange or Novell GroupWise environment. The Treo 300 utilizes Sprint’s enhanced PCS VisionSM network, which provides users with a new high-speed voice and data service based on CDMA/1XRTT network technology. The Handspring Treo 270, and 180 series, utilizes the GSM Network, provided by wireless carriers such as, Cingular Wireless and T-Mobile in the United States and Rogers AT&T in Canada. The Treo 300 communicator integrates a color Palm OS® organizer, keyboard and PCS Phone into a versatile productivity tool.
