Notify Technology Introduces the First Wireless Solution to Support AES Encryption for Motorola, Palm, and RIM Wireless Handheld Devices

SAN JOSE, CA – July 23, 2002– Notify Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: NTFY), today announced that its NotifyLink Wireless Family of Products will now support the latest Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). The Secretary of Commerce approved the adoption of the AES as an official Government standard, effective May 26, 2002. AES is a Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS), specifically, FIPS Publication 197, that specifies a cryptographic algorithm for use by U.S. Government organizations to protect sensitive, unclassified information. The NotifyLink Family of Products were developed for Consumers, SOHO Professionals, and Corporations that require secure wireless push notification, access, and management of their email, calendar, contacts, and tasks from a variety of wireless 2-way devices.
