Smart Devices and Users
Default View
-
The default Devices view has a data grid, search functionality, toolbar options, total user count and a details and administration panel that can be shown or hidden.
Searching, Exporting
-
Search criteria includes User Name, device type, policy suite and phone number. Wildcards (using *) are supported.

The Devices data grid can be exported to a .CSV or .XLS format. To increase network performance the file is saved inside a .zip folder.

Grid Refreshing

The Devices grid will refresh each time the view is entered. After the initial load of the grid, the last selected user and scroll position are remembered and the user is re-selected after the refresh.

When leaving the User Profile for a user, their grid row will be updated to show any changes that have been made.

Each time a User Profile is entered and exited, a check is done to make sure the user has not been deleted. If they are deleted, the admin has the option of refreshing the grid or having the deleted user removed from the grid.

Choose Visible Columns

By clicking the 'Choose Visible Columns' button, grid columns can be shown or hidden by checking the box next to the appropriate name.

Security Actions: Recovery Password

If a user has created a recovery password from their device it can be viewed by an Administrator.

Add New User Wizard

The Add User toolbar button launches a window that allows the addition of users individually, by using a .CSV file or LDAP server.

Remove User Button

Users are removed with the Remove User toolbar button.

If Hands-Off Enrollment is enabled, administrators are warned that the user may be re-created.

If Hands-Off Enrollment is not enabled, a simple confirmation will be seen.

User Profile

The User Profile toolbar button (or double-clicking a data grid row) opens the User Profile view for a specific user. iOS MDM Settings only appear if an APNs Certificate has been added to the server.

User Information

This section is used to manage basic information such as password, e-mail address, ownership type, domain, etc and also any custom columns that have been added.

Last Sync Data

This section is used to view all information about a users last synchronization. Main information is also displayed with icons.

Location Data
This section is used to view the locations a user's device has connected using Google Static Maps. All successful connections should have location data if Record Device Location is enabled in the user's Policy Suite.

User Profile: Audit Data

This section is used to view the phone and texts log of the user for any date since the device first connected. .

Text Message Details
-
When a text message record is double-clicked a pop-up is created that shows the body of text in the message with any attachments that were sent/received.

Attachments can be downloaded.

Search Phone Log
-
Searches can be done on phone log records to make it easier to locate certain data or information based upon a specific user.

Search Text Message Log
-
Searches can be done on text message log records to make it easier to locate certain data or information for a specific user.
